Distinctive personalities continue to evolve daily! During week 2, all pups' eyes opened and they started walking. At the end of week 2, each pup weighed over 3 pounds. At the end of the 3rd week, all were very active and were playing with each other. Several were almost 5 pounds and we started to see little teeth. At the end of the 4th week, they eagerly started eating soft food and reached 7 pounds. We introduced toys and they can't get enough of them! At the end of the 5th week, Mom weaned them. At the end of the 6th week, they weighed over 12 pounds! The are extremely playful with us and with each other. They are learning not to bite or chew on us! They love their puppy food and chew sticks. We tried to cherish every minute with them knowing that they would eventually leave us.

Puppy #1 Dancer - Female/Sable  - Birth weight - 1 lb 4 oz - Sold
Dancer is a cutie. During her early days, she spent most of her time nursing and sleeping. In photo 3, she is nursing on her back! We've also found that she likes to cuddle with you and has a gentle disposition.
Dancer is now in a loving home with three children who enjoy spoiling her.

Puppy #2 Vixen - Female/Black - Birth weight - 1 lb 3 oz - Sold
Vixen is already living up to her name. She is growing fast, seems to "rule the roost", and makes plenty of noise when she doesn't get her way. She is a beautiful solid jet black color. On day 9, she began using her front and back paws to walk a few steps. Today, Vixen is extremely active, very sweet and playful.
Vixen went to a loving family in Kansas. Since they are experienced German Shepherd owners, they will be able to mold her strong personality into something positive. Her new name is Ziva which means "splendid" in Hebrew. She is indeed splendid in many ways!

Puppy #3 Dasher - Male/Black - Birth weight - 1 lb 4 oz - Sold
No doubt, Dasher will be spoiled as he is the only male in the litter. He, too, cries a lot. Since he was the largest in the litter, does that make him the "big baby"? Actually, he seems more laid back, especially when his tummy is full of mom's milk. We caught Dasher taking his first steps on day 8.
Dasher has been sold and recently went home to a family with two young boys. They are eager to teach him tricks and play with him. And, it didn't take long for the whole family to LOVE him!

Puppy #4 Comet - Female/Sable - Birth Weight - l lb 3 oz - Sold
Comet is one of the more vocal puppies. She also loves to eat and sleep. She's the darkest of the sables. She has thick dark fur and likes to coo to us. Comet enjoys being held and is very curious about everything! She is very loving and very social to her siblings and to people. She is very focused when we speak to her, just like she understands every word. At 8 weeks, she's running around the yard..FAST! Tumbling and playing with her sisters.

Puppy #6 Blitzen - Female/Sable - Birth weight - 1 lb 2 oz - Sold
Initially, Blitzen just ate and slept. She slept through her siblings' cries and once even slept through her daily weigh-in. Now, Blitzen enjoys playing with her siblings and barking at them occasionally. She is very active and seems to have a distinct prey drive. Boy, can she jump and pounce! She's very athletic.

Puppy #7 Prancer - Female/Sable - Birth weight - 1 lb 1 oz - Sold
Prancer has so much in her favor: she is the baby, she was born 7th, or lucky 7, and she's fluffy. Prancer is determined to keep up with her older siblings in development and was also caught taking a few steps on day 8. Prancer has two white toes on her right back paw. She's the lightest sable in the litter and has a beautiful little face! Prancer is noticeably independent, is comical, and loves to play, play, play! She has a prey drive and is more dominant than some of her sisters.
Prancer is in her new home with 3 boys and will continue to play, play, play!
